Music is the shorthand of emotion said Leo Tolstoy. Shri D.K.Jayaraman epitomized this. Some of his song renditions simply move me to tears whenever I hear them. His concerts, especially with Shri M.S. Gopalakrishnan and Shri Umayalpuram K. Sivaraman, were extraordinary.

Truly a great musician. His virutham of ‘Petra thai thanai magan maranthalum’ is soul strring one. I have heard his concerts with lalgudi as accompaniment which were excellent. I have not heard his concerts with MSG. If I can have some download references, I will be obliged.
