Concert with Gayathri Girish for Madhuradhwani

Madhuradhwani organized a lecture demonstration and concert on Sri Thyagaraja’s musical opera Nauka Charitram. Sri Nagaswamy, former Director of Archaeology spoke about Sri Thyagaraja’s inspiration behind creating this musical opera and about the songs in the opera. Later Smt. Gayathri Girish sang a few songs from the opera. Shri B.V. Raghavendra Rao played the violin while I played the mrudangam.
