Marvel in a mistake

In 1968, Spencer Silver of 3M was working on making a super-strong adhesive. A mistake led to a weak adhesive. Post-its were born as a result.

I perform and teach music. Mistakes happen while performing existing ideas or compositions. They result in new ideas or compositions.

“If you are not prepared to be wrong, you will never come up with anything original” – Ken Robinson

Mistakes can open the doors to new ideas. All it takes is an attitude to notice the marvel in the mistake.

How many new ideas are you missing every day by just trying to do things one way – the perfect way?
