   Would suggest you check in Mudhra’s Artist Directory that is released every year. It should have addresses of most of the artists listed

   Hi Ram,
   You are doing great job. Thanks a lot for your great effort and prompt replies for everyone’s queries.

   I live in US. My kid is learning carnatic music. Im looking out for collection of
   “kutrala kuravanji” songs and “thriupughazh”. My husband might visit india. If you can suggest me CD/DVD of artists who have putforth their album specifically on this will help me.

   Wish you “nedodi vazhga” and happy time always.

   BTB RAM – I have small wish to pass on For Parents (carnatic lovers) in general: Pl listen to VISMAYA of KANNIKS (collection of muthuswamy dhikshitars western note compiled songs) which we happen to hear in arshavidyagurukulam – its really good, kids will pick up the verse and the song like “twinkle, twinkle”
   This is just a humble suggestion.

   Hi Vidya,

   I am not sure which artists have released CDs on these. However you should be able to find the CDs in one of the following venues:

   * AVM Sound Zone, TTK Road, Alwarpet (Near Narada Gana Sabha)
   * Giri Trading Company, Near Kapali Temple, Mylapore
   * Music World & Planet M, Spencer Plaza, Mount Road
   * Landmark, Nungambakkam

   Hi Ram,
   Thanks for the response.

   I thought if I can track down to particular artist and their album – its easy.

   With the help of google – cud get hold of
   Kutrala kuravanji padalgal by various arists of SAREGAMA – its listed in chennai online.
   Is there anyway I can know abt its quality. It doesnt give much description.

   Anyhow for both I will ask him to chek out in Giri trading as its nearby. Thanks for the input.

   The Veena Navarathri Concerts for Sunday featuring B Siva Kumar and N Ravikiran are being held at Krishna Gana Sabha if I remember correctly. Could you please verify and make necessary corrections? Also the concert of Ravikiran is listed twice for the same day.
