Thanks Arul. I don’t know of any immediate Vishaka Hari programs. She is performing in the US in June. I do not know if she has something lined up in Chennai before that. Will post here any information I get in this regard.

Are the same person that sang the Roja song?. i have been following your blog for the list of concerts, and it is very informative.
I am sure you know that when searches on google for some carnatic piece, your blog certainly shows up.
I wanted to check if you could recommend good teachers in Hyd. I learnt for several years from Malati Padmanabha Rao who is no more now.

I have never sung in public or in front of friends before ….. so the person who sang the Roja song you mention must be someone else. Your name however sounds very familiar. Were/Are you associated with ISB, Hyderabad by any chance?
My knowledge about music teachers in Hyderabad is very very poor since I spent just a year there, that too locked up most of the time outside the city, in Gachibowli. However, if my memory serves me right, Hyderabad Brothers and Hyderabad Sisters live somewhere in Secunderabad and Hyderabad respectively (see how great my memory is …. so tough to remember that Hyderabad Brothers and Sisters live in Hyderabad 😉 ).
As for the music season, most sabhas are yet to release their schedules. The Music Academy has released it’s schedule and I have listed the same. Will keep updating the list as other sabhas release theirs. The schedules, once released, are mostly final, unless circumstances force otherwise.
